Lockport, NY - The Buffalo Stampede will be honoring the memory of fallen teammate, Ben Fike, this Saturday, November 11th as they host the Columbus Mavericks in the Ben Fike Memorial game. Nearly one year after his tragic passing, the team will officially retire Ben's jersey number (9) and raise a banner to the rafters of Cornerstone CFCU arena.

A local Lockport, NY native, Ben was right at home in the cozy confines of Cornerstone Arena, as a member of the Stampede's 2022-23 roster. The veteran defenseman appeared in 14 games for the stampede last season, but more importantly, made a lasting impact on his teammates and everyone he encountered with his radiating positivity.

All proceeds from Saturday's game will be donated to the Love Like Ben foundation which was established in Ben's honor.
