Orzechowski Joins Stampede Coaching Staff
HOCKEY OPERATIONS
The Buffalo Stampede ownership group announced this week that the team has added to the Inaugural Season coaching staff with the hire of RPI and Buffalo Beauts alum, Ana Orzechowski.
Orzechowski, a native of Tonawanda, NY adds Division 1 and Professional playing experience to the program and has Buffalo hockey roots that go back to the very start of her career. Coming up in the Buffalo Bisons youth program, Orzechowski was a member of 4 state title teams, before moving away from home to pursue her hockey dreams with the Burlington Barracudas and subsequently, the Little Caesars U19 team. After high school, she moved on to play four years of Division 1 NCAA hockey for Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) of the ECAC. Following her collegiate career, Ana spent a season playing with the Buffalo Beauts of the NHWL.
Upon completion of her playing career, Orzechowski wasted no time in gaining valuable coaching experience as she led the Niagara Purple Eagles 19U girls team to a national top 25 finish (#17). This will also be her second season coaching in the USPHL as she was an Assistant Coach with the predecessor of the Stampede, the Buffalo Thunder, during the 2020-21 season.
