Cranston & Bonsignore Earn Player of the Month Honors
LEAGUE HONORS
Two members of the Stampede roster were awarded with USPHL Atlantic West division Player of the Month honors for the month of January.
Caden Cranston
Cranston (‘04/Rochester, N.Y.) is not done yet - his seven-game scoring streak remains alive and well entering February competition, as he posted 3-12-15 over those last seven games. With eight games being played in January, that gave him a 1.88 points per game average for the month. His 52 points in 36 games this season has him set as the Premier’s highest-scoring 2004-born player.
Parker Bonsignore
Cranston’s award leads us right on to the Premier’s highest-scoring 2005-born player, Parker Bonsignore, also a native of Rochester, and son of NHL alum and Stampede Head Coach Jason Bonsignore. He also had 15 points (6-9-15) over eight games in January, including a 5-4-9 performance over four games in front of hundreds of scouts at the USPHL Winter Showcase to open the new year’s action.
