Stampede Head Coach & General Manager, Brian Thompson, announced Thursday, that veteran Forward, Max Ciepiela, has been acquired from the Florida Eels and will be returning to the Herd for the remainder of the 2022-23 USPHL season. The 2003 Sanborn, NY native spent last season with the Stampede and started this year off with the Florida Eels.

"We’re thrilled to have Max back!" said Coach Thompson. "When I took the job he was one of a small handful that I was really hoping to get a chance to work with. He’s a big guy with good hands but an even better IQ. He’s a terrific player and person and is a terrific addition."
