After a strong set of performances to round out the last month 2021, rookie forward, Max Ciepiela was named one of the USPHL Atlantic West division Players of the Month for December.

Ciepila (‘03/Sanborn, N.Y.) had himself quite the month, posting 7-6-13 in just eight games through December. Four of his seven goals comprised all of Buffalo’s goals in an otherwise decisive loss to the Rockets Hockey Club. He also posted two goals and three assists for five points in two games in the team’s pair of track meets against the Utica Jr. Comets to end 2021, an 8-7 shootout loss and a 7-6 loss. Overall, Ciepiela improved his points total from 18 to 31 in December.
