Stampede Head Coach & General Manager, Brian Thompson, announced Saturday morning, that veteran defenseman, Brendan Bastian has been re-signed and will be returning for the 2022-23 USPHL season. The Tonawanda, NY native is entering his third USPHL season as he was a member of the Stampede's inaugural 2021-22 squad and played for the Stampede's predecessor, the Buffalo Thunder, the year prior.

Coach Thompson is looking forward to having Bastian back as a foundation of the roster: “Brendan is going to be the anchor of our blue line and our locker room. He’s a true veteran presence that will help to mentor our young players and we’re thrilled to have him back!”
