Bonsignore, Jace Cranston Earn Player of the Week Honors
LEAGUE HONORS
It was a strong week for the Buffalo roster as not one, but two Stampede players earned USPHL Atlantic West division Player of the Week honors.
Parker Bonsignore
Over the weekend, against the Utica Jr. Comets, the 2005-born native of Newington, Conn., earned three goals and six assists for nine points in just two contests. He had a 2-4-6 line in their first game, an 8-7 loss to the Jr. Comets. That equaled his previous season high of three points, attained three previous times on the season - and also in the game right after the six-point effort. Bonsignore now has 31 points in 26 games.
Jace Cranston
Cranston (‘05/Webster, N.Y.) helped the Stampede pick up a point from a shootout loss, in addition to staying right with Utica in an 8-7 loss. Cranston posted a goal and an assist in the 8-7 defeat and an assist in the shootout loss for a three-point weekend. Cranston is a former Connecticut Chiefs 18U teammate of Parker Bonsignore and Stampede goaltender Luke Remenyi.
